Why I am Here

This launched spring 2017  to showcase what I do. I originally had a wordpress.com but decided to transition to a wordpress.org website. This allowed me greater freedom to prove my abilities and who I am. This site will be growing and changing as time goes on and as I develop my skills as a web designer and blogger.

What this is going to be about (& maybe why you are here)

I am going to be posting anything and everything that I do. This website is going to have a lot of pictures, video, and written work.

It will also show what I have been up to in school and any internships I am currently involved with. You can expect posts about what I’ve learned, opportunities I’ve come across, and anything I find interesting in my chosen fields. Who knows, maybe you’ll get an idea for something that you are involved in or inspiration from a project I’ve worked on. If you have any questions about anything on my site at all please feel free to contact me.

Currently

I am a 21-year-old from Lincoln Nebraska. I graduated from Lincoln High school after completing the International Baccalaureate Program where I received my International Baccalaureate Diploma.

I am currently an undergraduate student at Drake University in Des Moines. I am pursuing degrees in Digital Media Production and History. I am also pursuing minors in Computer Science and Spanish.

Summer 2018 heralds more studio experience for me as I have begun an internship with Iowa Public Television as a part of their production crew. It looks like I will be working both on set, in the control room, and on remote location shoots.

I am also continuing my work with the Archives at Drake University. I have been upgraded to work on the Drake University Presidents’ Papers.
