Born and raised in Lincoln Nebraska, I graduated from Lincoln High school after completing the International Baccalaureate Program where I received my International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Most recently, I graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, IA. Where I pursued degrees in Digital Media Production and History and minors in Computer Science and Spanish. Graduating Magna Cum Laude in both the School of Journalism and the College of Arts and Sciences. I obtained department honors in both the Journalism school and the History Department, as well as full University Honors, and initiation into Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Alpha Theta.

I am currently a Graduate student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I am in the process of earning my Master’s in History. I am also pursuing specializations in Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs and Women and Gender Studies.

With this next step, I achieved a Research Assistantship with the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities where I worked on the Nebraskaland Archive, the William F. Cody Archive, and the History Harvest Archive.

Currently, I am a Graduate Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Archives where I work with various quilt collections.
